Elevation!

BEFORE I EVEN BEGIN TO WRITE THE MANY THINGS THAT HAVE BEEN FLUTTERING THROUGH MY BRAIN ALL DAY......... LET US PRAY! Father I come to you now as your vessel. I come thanking you for waking me up this morning and starting me on my way, for the many gifts you have given me on just today alone. Lord I ask that you make it plain. Let this blog touch someones life in a way that chains will be broken strongholds will decease and pain will pass away. Touch my readers Father, Bless them from day to day. Give them peace in you father and strength to make it. I just want to thank you for this gift and for all of the gifts you have placed in my life! I love you father and I will forever give your name all the glory and all the praise. In Jesus name amen. Now lets get started!!! Have you ever looked at someone elses situation and got instantly jealous cause you know that you are doing better than them and are the better christian? hmm... Have you ever known somebody to be a complete sinner yet they keep prospering and getting all the things you want? ... hmmm Have you ever prayed for that man even though you knew in your heart, he wasnt the right fit for you? uh oh stepping on toes... Have you ever wasted your time loving some one who didnt love you back the same, or love you at all for that matter?! oh snaps... Have you ever Hated because you werent the one Elevated!!? How are we elevating our selves?! I hearda story on the radio tonight that went along these lines.. A mother and her child were waiting in a line to meet someone famous and the little girl was soo excited. They only had a certain amount of time until they wouldn't be able to get the pic with this celebrity. The daughter was anxious and getting more frustrated by the minute, yet her mother was cool observing things in the room. Like the fact that the back drop that had been place behind the celebrity was not coming out quite right in some of the pictures she had seen be taking, so she observed in order to find the right postioning for once she and her daughter got to their turn. She then also found that the celebrities dress was so wide and larger towards the bottom that most people taking a pic had to be some ways from here in order for the pic to be taken. The mother observed that an made her mental note, when it was their time she would have her daughter stick her feet under the ladies skirt in order to be as close as possible and to make the photo seem more real. When it was finally their time, finally their turn, she had all her mental notes in place in order to make the picture a great looking picture. Did you catch that?! ... lol no? Let me make it plain for you .. Sometimes we see things happening for others and we are not happy for them but mostly unhappy for our own selves.. smh the bible says in Proverbs 14:30 A sound heart is the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones. When you are genuine in your happiness for someone it just like the story I shared, God is observing and he is making a mental note preparing for when it is your season and you time. Example from my life. I knew this girl and in my mind she was a rat in more ways than one. She so called ever self a christian but was out every other night even weekdays and leaving her kids with all these different people and I just knew I was better than her and deserved soooo much more than her and all the while I sat and watched her continue to be blessed with things that I was asking God for and not recieving... baaaaaaaabbbbbyyyy... I was ticked!! I was the one in church every Sunday at every choir practice bible study, sunday school, and she?!!!!! was getting my blessings!!!! Hater!!!! 1Corinthians 13:4 says :'love suffers long, and is kind; love envies not; love braggs not itself, is not puffed up.' I would take certain situations in peoples lives and ask God why cant that be me! Why am I still suffering finacially, Why havent you given me that job I asked for, God why doesn't this man love me the way that I need for him to love me!! God why am I lonely and they have .... everything. One day God said simply "this isn't your season!" I struggled hard with that. When will it be my season!?! The song says 'You cant hurry God, No you just have to wait!' God I'm doing what you said in your word I'm at your house almost everyday of the week I am praying I am here where are you Lord!!!!!!! Trusting him. It is not an easy thing to just give up the reigns on something especially when you are so independent. I couldn't recieve because I did not trust. Just because you ask doesnt mean you will get that exact thing you are seeking. That goes back to God making his mental notes in preperation for your season. Its like Gradening you see the plants beginning to grow, but just cause yousee them sprouting doesn't mean they are ready to be pulled. You have to wait for you season! Trust God and know that he has you very best interest at heart and he will give you the desires of your heart. However, your heart needs to be pure of envy and hatred for the next man. You have to learn how to genuinely be happy for them recieving what ever it is that God has given them!! What is mine is not yours and what is yours... Hello! When those flood gates opens up and your season beigns to pour in.... God is amazing and what I asked for he has given me 10 times bigger then I expected for it to be! Not only have we not had to struggle but there is money in the bank. Not only is there money in the bank but my bills are paid, Not only are my bills paid but I have started my dream job, not only have I started my dream job, I have been asked for 2 interviews in order to go higher in the work place and I have only been here 2 months, Not only that but my husbands health is progressing and he is recieving his healing, not only that but my children are healthy and want for nothing, not only that I am a walking, living, breathing testimony that God will see you through! You have to put your faith in him. Plug into your faith! My testimony may not be yours but you have one! I thank God for my season!!!! Walking into my blessings. Now the challenge for you is to turn on your genuinity and be happy and not have hatred. I didnt post those things to brag I posted them to show you that when I stopped hating and worrying about the next person God put his plan in action and has placed me in my season!!!! Will you Trust him today for your season????
